Student Leadership Training

“A community where all develop the skills and confidence to excel as learners and leaders”

On the 24th October the student leaders from years 7-11 received training as they embark on their new roles as part of the Student Leadership Group.

The objectives of this training session were:

·         To understand what student impact means, and the values and principles which underpin it

·         To explore the purpose of a school council, its governing rules and its roles and responsibilities

·         To create methods of communication and marketing to a range of stakeholders

·         To collaboratively action plan the next steps for the coming academic year

Students were fully engaged during this session and are now ready to play a more active role in school in order to impact their community.

Full updates of their achievements and impact of the Student Leadership Group will be available on the website throughout the academic year.
