CoCoMAD 2016

KNGS were delighted to play a very active role in the local community arts and dance festival – CoCoMAD this year.

We had over 30 girls work with a community artist to create some amazing pieces of artwork and props, all of which were put together to create our shopping trolley floats. The floats were part of the procession that opened the festival held in Cotteridge Park.

KNGS also had a stall at the event which hosted a community arts project encouraging people to share and document their personal memories of the local area and community.

In addition we also sold over 140 delicious cupcakes made by our very own Year 7 & 8 girls. It was a great community event and fun day – a HUGE thank you to all of the girls and staff that took part in the parade, helped in the stall and who baked the cakes!
