German & History Exchange

A group of fourteen German students and 2 staff arrived at KNGS on 21st September. They attended lesson with their KNGS partners on Thursday and Friday that week, followed by a game of rounders in the sunshine.

Over the weekend, the KNGS partners organised lots of interesting activities to share with their German partners – bowling, shopping, Windsor Castle, a trip to Brighton, to name but a few.

On Monday we had a wet but enjoyable trip to Stratford-upon-Avon where we visited Shakespeare’s Birthplace Museum and took part in some Shakespearean drama! On Tuesday 27th September we then waved goodbye to the German students as they set off home.

Many thanks to our KNGS girls for organising themselves so well and also to the KNGS parents who worked so hard to make this part of the exchange a success. The KNGS group will be visiting Melle in Lower Saxony at the end of February.
