Kings Norton Sixth Form Celebrates A-Level Results
Kings Norton Sixth Form students celebrated another year of outstanding successes in today’s A Level results, marking another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the school. Following record breaking results last year, 2016 saw a new all-time high in the overall pass rate and an increasingly upward trend in the highest grades A*-A, with 23.2% being at these grades.
We would like to congratulate each and every one of our students on their individual successes. We are very proud of their achievements which are a reflection of the hard work which has been put in by the students along with the care and support offered by their teachers and staff within KNGS.
The excellent results have opened doors this year to wide range of pathways from courses at the most competitive universities to high level apprenticeships and vocational choices.

Ms Fox Headteacher: “I whole heartedly congratulate our students on their examination results. They have worked incredibly hard to gain success in their A Levels and have developed into independent, confident and resilient young people ready to face the challenges of the next phase in their life’s journey. The sheer hard work of staff and students together with exceptional relationships and support are at the very heart of our very successful Sixth Form. Well done and a big thank you to everybody!”
We invite students who are looking to apply to study A-Levels for September 2017, to experience our vibrant and thriving community first hand at our main Open Evening on Monday 19th September from 5pm – 8pm, or alternatively at our Open Morning on Tuesday 20th September from 9am – 11am. A subsequent ‘Meet the Sixth Form & Careers Fair’ event will be held on the evening of Wednesday 16th November.
Kings Norton Sixth Form will be enrolling both boys and girls for September 2017.
