KNGS Celebrates Fantastic GCSE Results Significantly Above National Outcomes
Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form is delighted to congratulate students on their outstanding achievements in their GCSE’s this summer, as we celebrate a fantastic set of GCSE results which sit significantly above national outcomes:
Grades 7 and above: 15% higher than the national outcome at 41%
Grades 5 and above: 21% higher than national outcome at 79%
Grades 4 and above: 15% higher than national outcome at 88%
In addition, most subjects including English and maths achieved over 1 grade higher than the national average results.
Adding to last week’s outstanding success with the school’s best ever A Level results, KNGS celebrates another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at GCSE.
These outstanding results reflect the immense hard work undertaken by students, teachers and support staff over the last two years at a time when the varying impact of the pandemic has made studying for GCSE’s even harder. The staff and Governors are very proud of the achievements of the class of 2022 and are excited about the world of opportunities that now lies ahead for them.
Nicola Raggett, the school’s Headteacher said: “We are immensely proud of all the hard work and achievements of our students and despite a difficult couple of years they have continued to flourish, with a fantastic set of results. Our staff team have worked tirelessly with students to ensure they are all able to progress onto further education, we look forward to welcoming many of them into Kings Norton Sixth Form. We wish all our students the very best for the future and look forward to hearing about their achievements.
