KNGS Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Results

Kings Norton Girls’ School is celebrating an outstanding level of success in today’s GCSE results, adding to last week’s successes at A-Level, this truly marks a year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the school. This year’s GCSE results see an outstanding:

86% achieving A*-C

37% achieving A*-A

82% of girls achieving A*-C in English & maths

Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students on their individual successes, there were many delighted faces this morning as envelopes were opened. We are extremely proud of their achievements which are a reflection of their hard work, resilience and determination. A huge thank you to staff for their care, support and for instilling the self-belief which is so significant a factor in their success at KNGS.

Among the girls’ celebrating today are Susan Zheng, Lydia Airey, Joanna Bras-Goldberg, Jessica Davies, Katarina Lukic, Amy Conroy, Elisha Gretton, Fei Moorcroft, Eleanor Coley, Olivia Harris, Niamh O’Neill, Rosie Hargreaves, Lili Cave and Shivani Dattani who all achieved 9 or more A*-A grades.

Shivani said “Kings Norton Girls’ is a wonderful school and has supported me through every aspect of my life at KNGS, always pushing me to my maximum potential. Thank you so much I am thoroughly pleased with my results!”

Student Sophie Rouvray also commented “Thank you to all the teachers for their support, exam season very hard but completely worth it. I am so please with all my results!”

We very much look forward to welcoming these talented students back into our Sixth Form in September, where they will continue their achievements at A-Level, and continue to make the most of the opportunities, both academic an extra-curricular over the next two years.
