KNGS CELEBRATES STRONG GCSE RESULTS
Students at Kings Norton Girls’ School & Sixth Form are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results, with outcomes again exceeding national averages and reflecting another year of excellent achievement across the school.
The results demonstrate the hard work, determination and resilience shown by students throughout their secondary education, alongside the dedication and support of staff, families and the wider school community.
This year’s outcomes place the school well above national averages:
- 26% of grades awarded at Grade 7 or above
- 66% of grades awarded at Grade 5 or above
- 80% of grades awarded at Grade 4 or above
Adding to the success of the school’s impressive A Level results announced last week, these GCSE outcomes represent another year of excellent academic and personal achievement for KNGS students.
The staff and School Board are extremely proud of the achievements of the Class of 2026 and are excited about the World of Opportunities that now lies ahead for them. Many students will continue their studies at Kings Norton Sixth Form, while others will pursue a range of educational and career pathways.
Nicola Raggett, Headteacher, said:
“Congratulations to all our students on their fantastic GCSE results. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. These outcomes reflect the hard work, determination and perseverance shown by our students throughout their time at Kings Norton Girls’ School, as well as the commitment, expertise and care of our dedicated staff. We are delighted to see so many students progressing onto exciting next steps, including joining our thriving Sixth Form, and we wish them every success and happiness for the future.”
