Mosaic Enterprise Challenge

Year 9 Test Their Entrepreneurial Skills

This half-term fifty Year 9 students have been given the fantastic opportunity to take part in the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge, an initiative of The Prince’s Trust.  This is an inter-school business and enterprise competition which aims to increase young peoples understanding of business concepts and how they can apply them. The girls were also able to develop a number of other transferable skills such as teamwork, lateral and creative thinking and clarity of expression.

The first stage of the competition, involved taking part in a business simulation game, which has now been completed, under the guidance and support of mentors from Lloyds Banking Group. In early March the top five scoring schools in each region will then be invited to a Regional Finals event and then regional winners will then be invited to the National Finals in London in May. Well done to all the students who took part – fingers crossed on getting through to the next stage!
