English Ambassadors Prepare to Showcase Our New Creative Writing Book
For the second time, the KNGS English Faculty has helped students to become published authors in our very own school book, professionally published by Scholastic Press. Keen writers from all year groups have taken part in the book, with stories, poems, travel writing and creative responses to literary texts compiled to make up a different and exciting read. The book has been organised in thematic sections, so whether you particularly like reading magical stories or prefer serious subject matter such as conflict, you can easily find something to appeal to your tastes. The English Ambassadors, who assisted Dr O’Mahony and Mrs Edwards with compiling the book, proofreading it and creating the cover design, are now busy planning our official launch event. Coinciding with World Book Day (1st March), this will include readings by students and the opportunity to have your copy signed by the many talented young authors featured. We are all looking forward to the launch, which will represent the amazing culmination of a year of hard work from both KNGS students and staff.
