Summer STEM Opportunity

We are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore the world of engineering this summer.

The Smallpeice Trust is hosting its Girls Into Engineering residential course – a three-day immersive programme designed specifically for girls in Years 8 and 9 who are curious about science, technology, and how things work.

Taking place at Loughborough University from 11–13 August, this residential gives students a unique opportunity to experience university life while developing valuable STEM skills.

Students will:

  • Stay on campus and get a taste of independent university living
  • Work alongside like‑minded students from across the UK
  • Take part in exciting, hands‑on engineering projects
  • Explore real-world applications in biomedical and mechanical engineering

This programme is ideal for students considering future careers in engineering, science, or technology.
