Information for Parents and Students

For any examination queries please contact the Exams Officer (Chloe Welch) at cwelch@kngs.co.uk or 0121 675 6216.

If a student is unwell and cannot sit an examination or is running late, the examination officer and/or school reception need to be informed before 8:15am.

It is good practice to have a full set of equipment for all of your exams, this includes: black pen, pencil, ruler, compass, sharpener, eraser, protractor and calculator all in a clear pencil case or plastic bag.

Students are expected to wear full school uniform for all internal examinations and external examinations. Own clothes are allowed after Whitson week for Year 11’s only.

We wish all students sitting exams the very best of luck.

Important Information Regarding Summer 2019

The awarding bodies have created a ‘contingency day’ for examinations, this is on Wednesday 26th June 2019. The ‘contingency day’ is in the event of a national or local disruption to examinations. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations. You are reminded that you must be available on Wednesday 26th June 2019 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
